For the second year, a section of Drost Park has been designated as the Maryville Village Garden and you, the residents of Maryville, are being offered the opportunity to use a plot for your own garden. The Village Garden is being directed by a village garden committee which is made up of members of the Park & Rec committee, the Community Improvement Board and a gardener. Any one interested in using one of the garden plots must complete an application. The garden will be located on the west side of the lake, south of the Schiber Court park entrance. There are 20 garden plots (20' x 40') available. Plots will be assigned by a lottery system. However, if you gardened last year, you may request the use of your same plot. You must have your application and $25 fee submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Below is the link to the application form and gardener guidelines.
