7:00:00 PM Gulledge Called the Special Board meeting of February 9, 2005 to order. He asked for a roll call of those officers present. Answering the roll call were Trustees Limberg, Schmidt, Callahan, Kostyshock, and Garcia. Trustee Bell was absent. Also in attendance were Clerk Long, Attorney Wigginton, Street Superintendent Mann, two (2) citizens, and two (2) reporters.
7:00:33 PM Gulledge Explained the purpose of the Special meeting is to consider the petition to annex property commonly known as the Mick A. and Judith J. Webb property located at 2423 Field Point, Collinsville, Illinois, into the Village of Maryville. At this time he turned the meeting over to Attorney Wigginton.
7:00:53 PM Wigginton Explained that on December 29, 2004 the Webbs filed a petition to annex their property to the Village. He complied with the Illinois Statutes and sent notices to the surrounding taxing districts associated with the property. He sent the notices by Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested. He has the returned receipts. There were no objections. He read 0rdinance 2005-03, An Ordinance Annexing And Zoning Certain Territory To And In The Village Of Maryville, Madison County, Illinois.
7:04:00 PM Gulledge Called for a motion to approve Ordinance 2005-03. Kostyshock made the motion, and Schmidt made the second to the motion.
7:04:40 PM Schmidt Commented that it appears that most of the development was SR-1.
7:04:47 PM Wigginton Commented that he thought it was an SR-2 development. He said he will correct the ordinance to Sr-1.
7:05:00 PM Gulledge Asked for a roll call on the motion. Voting on the motion: Limberg - yes; Schmidt - yes; Callahan - yes; Kostyshock - yes; Garcia - yes, Motion carried.
7:05:27 PM Gulledge Called for a motion to adjourn the Special Board meeting, and reconvene the Caucus meeting. Limberg made the motion, and Schmidt made the second. Voting on the motion: Limberg - yes; Schmidt - yes; Callahan - yes; Kostyshock - yes; Garcia - yes. Motion carried and the meeting ended.
