6:30:19 PM Gulledge Called the first public hearing of June 15, 2005 to order. He explained the purpose of the hearing is to discuss and answer any questions on the Radas Annexation Agreement between the Village of Maryville and the Radas Family. The property is approximately 77.61 acres. He opened the hearing to the public for questions or comments. There were eight (8) persons present. He asked if anyone had questions or comments. There were none. He asked Attorney Wigginton if he had any comments.
6:31:13 PM Wigginton Stated for the record, that a notice of the public hearing was published in a newspaper of general circulation, at least fifteen days before the day of the hearing and not more than thirty days before the hearing. He asked Clerk Long if it was published in the Troy Times Tribune. She replied that it was. He said he has copies of the agreement should anyone want to inspect it. He and the Board are here to answer any questions the public might have regarding the annexation agreement.
6:31:57 PM Gulledge Asked again if anyone had questions or comments.
6:32:11 PM Schmidt Said he did have one thing. He discussed a small amendment to Section 3, paragraph 2, the very last sentence. He asked Attorney Wigginton to discuss adding an amendment to the last sentence.
6:32:39 PM Wigginton Commented that Schmidt is correct. The last sentence of Section 3, Sub-section 2 reads, "The Village acknowledges that buffer yards are not required between different residential uses or home product types". He said he and Trustee Schmidt spoke earlier about making the sentence more detailed.
6:33:45 PM Gulledge Asked if there were any more questions or comments. There being none, he closed the hearing.

Respectfully submitted,

Thelma Long, Village Clerk
