6:52:40 PM Gulledge Called the third and final public hearing of Wednesday, August 1, 2007 to order. Explained the purpose of the hearing is to discuss re-zoning of the Foresight Maryville LLC Property from Madison County Agricultural to PDR and B-1. Explained PDR would be all the area to the back of the property up to 350 feet from Highway 162; the B-1 would be the 350 feet from the highway back to the PDR portion. Stated this issue was discussed at last month's Planning Commission meeting and public hearing. Explained they received a recommendation from that Commission. Stated there will be no formal vote on this item tonight because it is unincorporated property, and an annexation agreement is still in discussion. Opened the hearing to questions or comments from the floor.
6:53:52 PM Bell Stated a question came up at Caucus as to the 350 feet being the same distance as in the previous request. Stated they have not yet seen revised plans for the property other than asking for the zoning.
6:54:16 PM Gulledge Explained he is simply explaining the zoning request; the specifics of the plan will be taken up within the annexation agreement at a later date. Asked for other questions. There were none.
6:54:56 PM Gulledge He closed the hearing.
