6:32:10 PM Gulledge Called the hearing to order, and explained that the reason for the hearing was a request from Harold and Sherry Kuykendall to re-zone their property at 119 South Donk Street from MR-2 to B-1. There were seven persons in attendance. He opened the hearing for questions.
6:33:05 PM Bell Asked if the reason for the re-zoning was due to parking problems.
6:33:15 PM Kuykendall Replied it was. With the widening of 159, she would be losing her parking in front of her business.
6:33:23 PM Gulledge Said the MR-2 zoning is the highest multi-family zoning in Maryville, and will be going to B-1 which is light business. He talked about the property. He said he may have inadvertently said in the Caucus meeting that the house would be torn down. However, he has been informed that they will not tear down the Lange house. The extra lot between the houses on Donk will be turned into a parking lot.
6:33:50 PM Bell Asked what the plan for the house was.
6:34:02 PM Kuykendall Replied that it is being rented as a residence now, however in the future it may possibly house a restaurant.
6:34:50 PM Gulledge Asked if there were any other questions. There were none. The hearing closed.
